The classic combined day: Capri in the morning when the day-trip boats haven't arrived yet, lunch at sea between the island and the coast, Positano and the Amalfi cliffs in the afternoon, and the long ride back as the light goes gold.
It's a longer day — roughly ten hours — and it works best on a fast boat that can cover distance without rushing the stops. We recommend Caiman 54 or Conam 46 for this itinerary; the gozzi are too slow for the route.
Up to ten guests because the day involves more navigation than anchoring. The geometry of the day is built around being in the right place at the right hour: Capri before noon, lunch on the open water, Positano after three.
